UniAdmissions is a selective prep school, so our applicants need to demonstrate certain characteristics and meet certain criteria in order to be considered for our support. We want all of our students to find success in their Oxbridge, Medicine and Law applications, so it’s important for us to determine early on whether a student has the drive and ability to reach this success. But what are the things we look for in a “UniAdmissions Student”?
1. Grades

If this sounds like you or your child, then explore our selection of Premium Programmes today to find out how we can triple your chances of success in your application. You can also book a consultation session online to begin the enrolment process and determine you or your child’s suitability as an applicant.
Our students are required to meet our high standards of entry, but the standards for our tutors are even higher. Each tutor that we work with is an Oxbridge graduate who finished in the Top 10% of their cohort, meaning we only work with the best of the best!
Once a student has enrolled with us, the process begins to match them with the perfect tutor. We take into account the student and tutor’s backgrounds and experiences to ensure they can work together effectively and ensure success.

When enrolled, each of our students will join a form which is run by a specially selected Form Mentor. These mentors run fortnightly sessions in which they support their Form with general aspects of their application and using their resources effectively.
If a student is struggling with their programme in any way, they can speak with their Form Mentor 1-1 to get advice on how they can make better use of their resources and tuition hours. The Form Mentor is there to make sure each student is giving themselves the best chance of succeeding in their application.

You may wonder why we are so selective with the students that we admit to our various programmes. There are multiple reasons for this, but the core belief of UniAdmissions is to provide a quality service that gives every person we work with a great chance of success in their university application.
As a prep school, we pride ourselves on our high success rates amongst our students. We maintain these high success rates by ensuring we work with applicants who have the right attitude to succeed in the Oxbridge, Medicine and Law application processes.
However, it’s not just about our success rates. Enrolling in one of our programmes can be a fairly large investment, so we want to ensure that we deliver the quality and value of teaching that you would expect. This can only be done if a student is willing to fully engage with our wide selection of resources and support, so our selection process determines if an applicant is the right fit for what we provide.
We also limit the number of students who we work with each year, so our selection criteria help us to discover the applicants who would benefit most from our support. Our Scholar Limit is crucial for maintaining the quality of our support, as we ensure each of our students gets the attention they need from our team and unrestricted access to our expert tutors.

Our free admissions consultations help us to determine your suitability for our programmes and provide you with all the information that you will need to decide if you wish to enrol.
These sessions last 20 – 30 minutes, where you will speak with one of our friendly Admissions Consultants. They will ask you some questions regarding you or your child’s academics and related activities to see if you match our admissions criteria.
They will also provide you with details about our programmes and answer any questions you may have. Once the session is finished, your Admissions Consultant will send you an information package, containing more details about our programmes.
After your initial Admissions Consultation, you can follow up with our Admissions Team to ask any further questions. Your Admissions Consultant will also contact you in the days after your session to offer any additional support.
If you decide to enrol, you will need to contact your Admissions Consultant, who will begin the payment process while our Programmes Team prepare your access to the UniAdmissions Portal.
If all available places are filled when you complete the enrolment process, you will need to wait until the next intake period to access your one-to-one tuition sessions (new intake begins at the start of each month). We will work on assigning your tutor for you in the meantime to ensure you’re ready to begin once your full programme starts.
Each year, we provide access to our programmes for a select few applicants via our mentoring scheme. We believe that everyone with the qualities of an Oxbridge student should have a fair chance of getting the place they deserve, regardless of background. Therefore, we seek to provide support for those who would not be able to access it elsewhere. Find out more about eligibility and how to apply on our UniAdmissions Foundation page.
