  • LNAT Course Structure

The LNAT intensive course is a crash course that focuses on areas that you can most benefit from improving, for example Critical Thinking in section A and Essay Writing in section B, however the small group sizes ensure ou get personal help with whatever part of the LNAT you find hardest.

    1015 – 1030: Arrival, Registration and Resources

    1030 – 1330: Section A

    1330 – 1400: Lunch

    1400 – 1500: Section A continued

    1500 – 1700: Section B

    1700 – 1745: Debrief and Finish

  • Section B

One essay must be answered from a choice of 3, for which there are 40 minutes to complete. In particular, this tests your ability to construct coherent arguments and to argue persuasively.

  • Section A

There are 12 passages and 42 questions in the whole of Section A and you have 95 minutes to complete this section. It is a test of your critical thinking and comprehension skills, your ability to identify specific details in large passages and also understand the gist of the passages. It also tests your ability to understand arguments.

  • Debrief

The final part of the course consolidates the main techniques and strategies taught throughout the day. Although the course is scheduled to end at 1730, your tutor will be around until at least 1800 (or later if need be) to answer any questions that you have. Please arrange your transport back home with this in mind.
