James is a PhD student in the University of Cambridge Department of Engineering. After undergraduate study at Peterhouse, he moved on to Corpus Christi College for a master’s degree, achieving the top grade every year. Now in his sixth year, he is well acquainted with the Cambridge system. He teaches Thermodynamics to third year undergraduates, has experience with the Mathematics STEP, and has mentored prospective applicants during their residential visits to the university. Outside of Engineering, his interests include badminton, snooker and skiing.
