8 Ultimate Revision Tips
1. WHEN TO START
It’s always best to get ahead with your revision and start ASAP so you don’t need to cram in the last month.
2. MANAGE YOUR TIME
Make a checklist of 3-5 things you want to achieve each day and MAKE SURE you achieve them!
3. WHAT TO REVISE FIRST
It’s tempting to revise what you find easy first, but this is the wrong way! Follow the chart here:
4. CONDENSE INFORMATION
Write up an A5 poster of information. Condense it to A4. Now condense that to A5, then a post-it.
5. PAST PAPERS
Nothing beats replicating the real exam. Do a past paper under test conditions and mark your answers.

6. FLASHCARDS
Write everything you revise (condensed) onto flashcards and keep them with you & refer back.
7. POST-IT NOTES
Similar to flashcards – write them up and stick them in places you’ll frequently look.
8. TEST YOURSELF
You can create yourself short tests/exams to test your revision on topics – definitely worth doing.
